COVID-19 STUDIO SAFETY

For the safety of yourself and others, please read all rules and take time to explain all changes with your child before their first lesson with us. We can’t wait to see you soon!

Restricted entry to our waiting room

The waiting room is CLOSED to anyone other than the dancers enrolled (Exceptions made for our preschool classes and very special circumstances only.) To keep you, our dancers and our staff safe we must limit waiting and congregation around the studio. We ask you to please follow social distance markers set in place.

Students must be dropped off on time (NOT EARLY) and collected promptly by one person maximum. The teacher will bring students out to be collected. We need to free up the bathrooms for hand washing, so we ask you to please change your child into dancewear at home or in the car. Please get your child to use the rest room at home . I don’t have the time to sanitize the bathroom during class time, nor anyone to watch the other students while I sanitize.

Please maintain physical distancing

When waiting outside : Please wait on the allocated markers if necessary

Upon entering the building : Temperature check and hand sanitizing upon entering the building (one student at a time)

When lining up for class : Please wait on the allocated markers if necessary (1 person per child only).

We have put a 15 minute gap between classes for us to sanitize, this should eliminate a need to line up for class

In class : There have been rectangles place on the floor for student bags. Children will be expected to stay in their allotted dance space. We have taped the floor, placed X’s and circles for students to stand on, to allow for safe physical distancing. Barres are marked with 6 ft distance.

Sorry kids, no hugging of students or teachers is allowed . Students are not allowed to touch each other or the teacher. No hugs, high fives, holding hands or partnering. Barres will be sanitized and only one barre per student. Barres have also been marked for social distancing.

Mask are optional .

Please be guided by your conscious. If your child wears her mask in the building, you must inform the teacher whether it is ok or not to remove the mask during class. Unless specified by an adult it must stay on.

Please limit excess gear that could stay at home or inside the car

If your child is unwell please do not send them along to the lesson

We are regularly sanitizing all high touch areas

We ask for children to limit toughing anything unnecessarily

We are leaving doors open so they do not have to touch them to enter the building or class, this will also give us some fresh air. Air purifiers are being used in both rooms

Thank you for your co-operation and support

We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
